Delivery of your shipment depends on various criteria such as from the time consolidation starts till the time container is loaded and docks in India. Once in India container will be unloaded, custom cleared and delivered via ground service to final destination. Shipment can get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. 60-90 is just an estimate we provide for normal scheduled shipment and delivery.SFL Worldwide does not guarantee any delivery time.<\/p>Custom Duties<\/strong>: Custom Duties will be charged at destination at actual. Any quote provided at origin should be considered as estimate and not actual custom duties. Custom duties depend on make, model, age, value, (Transfer of Residence) TR eligibility etc. Custom duties are levied based on the value ascertained by the customs officer at port. Customers will be notified via email or by phone to clear customs. Upon payment of customs shipment will be released from warehouse for delivery at final destination.<\/p>Custom Clearance Process<\/strong>: SFL Worldwide will make arrangements on your behalf at port to clear customs for your items\/packages. However, in order for us to clear customs on your behalf the following documentation is compulsory. If these documents are not provided a week prior to container docking at port you might be subject to paying fines, duties or any other charges as levied by the customs officer. Documents required are: Passport (US or Indian. If US, then please make sure you provide a copy of your OCI or PIO card), Packing list with commercial value. Additionally any of the following items need to be certified as being properly prepared for Shipment:- Internal combustion engines must have the fuel drained. be run to a small, and then have the battery cables disconnected and the battery leads secured, This includes lawn and Garden equipments and generators as well as all motor vehicles.<\/li>
- SCUBA and other compressed gas cylinders must be professionally purged.<\/li>
- Outdoor items must be cleaned so as to be free from soil, vegetable matter, and insect Pests<\/li>
- Any solid wood ( not plywood or pressboard) must bear a heat treatment mark or be Certified as having been treated with an approved ISPM compliant fumigant.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

Our Liability:<\/strong>\u00a0SFL Worldwide is only liable for loss or damage to any package that is expressly stated in the household goods descriptive inventory and as may occur while your shipment is in our physical possession. Our Maximum liability for such loss or damage is limited to any amount not exceeding $0.60 per pound per package. We are not liable for loss or damage that may occur after the shipment leaves our physical possession. Any optional extended protection plan for your household goods, personal effects and automobile moving by land, sea and\/or air is available subject to your application, acceptance, payment, of premiums and compliance with the terms and condition of our 3rd party insurance underwriter at least 4 days prior to pickup of your shipment. SFL Worldwide, LLC does recommend that you purchase extended protection for your shipment. It is customer\u2019s responsibility to select appropriate insurance plan required for shipment. Insurance explained below:<\/p>Movers Insurance: Only liability for loss or damage to your goods or shipment is limited to a maximum of $0.60 per lbs per package while the goods are in our physical possession. If the loss or damage occurs after the goods leave our possession, we will not liable for any loss or damage.<\/p>
Insurance Details<\/strong>: SFL Worldwide offers 3rd party services for all shipping insurance needs. Please make sure you review terms and conditions prior to selecting your insurance options. SFL Worldwide will facilitate the insurance activation process and help submit paperwork if a claim is submitted. We require customers to inspect goods when delivered and make note of any damages on the delivery slip to smoothly initiate insurance process. For any reason if your insurance claim is denied by the insurance company and if the packages where lost or damaged when it was in our physical possession, SFL Worldwide will compensate you as per our liability stated above which is sixty cents per pound per package.<\/p>Terms & conditions:<\/strong>All services proposed will be undertaken subject to our terms and condition which are incorporated herein by reference and available upon request. The scope of service to be performed by SFL Worldwide, and its agent is limited to the execution of only those services expressly stated in this document.<\/p>Cancellation of Shipment:<\/strong>\u00a0SFL Worldwide LLc reserves rights to cancel any shipment at any given point of time before pickup of shipment or after pickup is done without any prior notice under any circumstances beyond our control. SFL Worldwide LLc will be not liable for any monetary or non-monetary loss to the sender or recipient of the shipment.<\/p>Your rights and responsibility:\u00a0<\/strong>:<\/p>- All charges including premiums for an extended protection plan if elected are due upon receipt of invoice after pickup and must be paid in full by check, cash or money order.<\/li>
- By signing this contract you agree that our household good descriptive inventory is the official document that contains the pickup date, delivery date, quantity and description of your packages shipped and received.<\/li>
- You agree to denote damages to items during packing or loading at origin in our household goods descriptive inventory prior to singing and dating at origin.<\/li>
- You agree t denote any missing or damaged packages along with your signature upon delivery of your shipment in our household goods descriptive inventory prior to signing and dating at destination.<\/li>
- In the event that your shipment is not delivered in whole you agree to submit your claim in wiring to us within 90 days after pickup. We will attempt to locate and deliver your shipment within 2 weeks of receiving your written claim. If we are unable to locate your shipment in two weeks and if you are purchased an extended protection plan or if your claim is denied by the insurance company and if the shipment was lost when in our possession, we will compensate you per our liability stated above which is sixty cents per pound per package.<\/li>
- In the event that your shipment is delivered in part or in case of any damages you agree to submit your claim in writing to use within 7 days after delivery. You agree to denote the missing\/damaged packages in our household goods descriptive inventory during delivery.
